PAST EVENTS

May 22nd, 2010 - SaturDash East Village Hunt

Teams had to dodge hipsters, duck into dive bars, and decipher graffiti-art as they pieced together clues and scanned the East Village for hidden boots worth bonus points. The Dance Parade down Broadway/St Marks really added to the excitement of the day.

November 7th, 2009 - The Downtown Scramble

This scavenger hunt was for the real brainiacs of the city. Teams had to unscramble and solve riddles to figure out where to go before answering questions about the variety of sights downtown. They jumped around the statues of Union Square, the artwork of SoHo, and the tiny, well-hidden gems of the West Village.

October 2009 - New York: The Game WEEKEND COMPETITIONS

Each weekend of October, teams played our newly released scavenger hunt sightseeing experience all over the city. Using their own cell phones, teams didn't traditionally "face-off" but instead were able to compete at any time they had a few free hours on the weekend. Several ambitious teams completed multiple neighborhood hunts, from the historical wonders of Wall Street to the shopping capital of the world, Fifth Avenue.

June 13th, 2009 - The East Village

Venturing into the less-well known, and often outlandish parts of the East Village, hunters braved a slightly rainy Saturday as they pieced together clue answers in order to solve fun riddles. They discovered shops specializing in obscura, "off-the-wall" grafitti art on buildings, and bars that give you a real bang for the buck. The skies may have been cloudy, but the mood was sunny!

April 25, 2009 - Greenwich Village & SoHo, Cell Phone Hunt

Rolling into the modern technological age, Stray Boots made its second major event a cell phone-based hunt where competitors tested not just their minds but their abilities in text-messaging. This time, guided by their phones, hunters scoured the popular hangouts of the Village and SoHo to once again answer clever clues, find hidden boots, and have a blast.

March 7, 2009 - East Side Scavenger Hunt

The first ever Stray Boots public hunt featured 120 eager hunters searching the entire East Side of Manhattan for answers to clues, hidden boots, and good times. Participants enjoyed an array of attractions, from museums like the Paley Center (former Museum of TV&Radio), to laid back lounges like Stone Creek, to the culturally-rich streets of Little Italy.
