"DC: The Game" Text-message (SMS) Tours Become the Company's Fifth U.S. City Offering

Washington, D.C. - June, 2011: Starting June 10, 2011, visitors to Washington, D.C. will be able to explore the
city via their cell phones with the launch of Stray Boots' new 'DC: The Game" interactive scavenger hunt tours.
Conducted through text-messages, the three preliminary city tours will take participants to the Georgetown and
Penn Quarter neighborhoods as well as on a Smithsonian Art Adventure. The nation's capital will be the fifth U.S.
city represented in the company's growing tour portfolio, it was announced earlier this month by Avi Millman,
Founder of Stray Boots.

"We are excited to launch 'DC: The Game' and provide visitors - and locals - with a new way to see the city," said Millman. "As the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. has many established cookiecutter tours and book-based excursions. By capitalizing on the interactivity and ease-of-use of SMS technology, we will be providing participants with not only a view of the expected  sites and monuments, but also enriching their experience through interactive Q&A-style exchanges and off-the-beaten-path destinations."

Half scavenger hunt, half walking tour, each of the three zones has been meticulously explored by Stray Boots staff to highlight some of the local "nuances" which give each neighborhood its charm. These local charms are then transferred to participants through the scavenger game clues and fast facts given at the completion of each challenge.

How it works:
Participants enroll on a scavenger hunt tour by visiting www.DCTheGame.com and purchasing a ticket. Once payment is confirmed, a message is sent to the user's email address with an activation code and the tour's start location. Following  text-message prompts, participants are guided with riddles, puzzles, photo opps and trivia questions to points of interest along the tour's route. Each user response in the journey garners them points, making it possible to compete between groups of  friends, family members, or pre-assigned teams.

At a cost of $10 USD per ticket, the "DC: The Game" self-paced tour is a budget-friendly approach to the city and has a  duration of approximately two-to-three hours. Once activated, participants have one month to finish the tour.
