Meet the Stray Boots Squad
We like to keep things simple, just like our tours. That's why we have a small, dynamic team of talented, quirky people. If you want to be a part of things, check out our job openings, and tell us why you'd make a great addition to the squad.
Avi Millman - Co-Founder, CEO
Since his "Eureka" moment in 2008 while touring Rome with his family, Avi has led the company as its chief visionary and tour creator. Avi complements his diverse business experience (organic tonic water startup, supply chain management, Caribbean ad sales), with a Princeton history degree, passion for urban travel, and expert level of nerdiness.
Scott Knackmuhs - Co-Founder, Operations
If the customer is king, then Scott presided over his coronation. Since helping to conceptualize and launch Stray Boots's first tours in 2009, Scott's mission has been to make the customer experience as good as it can be from gameplay to phone support. Before his boots began to stray, Scott was a supply chain analyst at national retailer Steve & Barry's, and a UPenn frisbee star moonlighting as a history major.
Noemi Millman - Co-Founder, Technology
The woman behind Stray Boots' technology, Noemi left her own web development firm Triopter LLC to build the company's proprietary software platform and website from scratch. She brings to Stray Boots nine years of development experience, in the for profit and non, a Princeton BA, and a proclivity for doodling horses during office meetings.
Jenn Rogers - Group Sales
From bachelorette parties to corporate scavenger hunts, Jenn helps customers put together great events. Before joining the Stray Boots team she recruited technical talent for high-growth NYC startups and put her Russian degree to use grocery shopping in Brighton Beach. Proudly, Jenn has never met a pun she didn't like.
Jeff Barry - iPhone App Development
Taking our SMS-based games to the next level, Jeff is building Stray Boots' first iPhone app. Before Stray Boots, Jeff co-founded two companies doing book design and app design and development. He has built two prior travel apps published in the App Store, and has since fled the United States for greener Argentinian pastures.
